Historic Richfield Home

Some interesting Utah history is found in this distinctive Victorian Richfield home, recently bought and being re-vamped. The two front doors are a giveaway that this was once a polygamist home, built by a prominent state official. The two front rooms lead into seperate-but-equal entryways and sitting rooms, joined by a single living room between the two. To hide from federal marshalls, the attic includes a secret room in the attic, discovered accidentally, that is accessed through a ladder inside an interior wall. The backyard included an entrance to a series of secret tunnels that once led into businesses on Main Street. It's wonderful to have such beautiful and historic buildings being preserved here in our community!
